Tebsinar, most of the Cass county area is open today. The head of the fire is mostly in Marion co. now. 4 mi. west of Linden on hwy.155 to 3 mi. south of Linden on hwy.59 most everything south into Marion co. and west to hwy 49 south of Avinger, crossed 49 near Marion co. line. has been burned! Lots of deer camps were lost along with at least 9 homes and several barns and chicken houses were lost. Most all the roads should be open in Cass county now. I live about 1/4 mi. as the crow flies from where the fire started and got extremely lucky with the wind blowing it away from our house! Lots of great volunteer firefighters saved a lot of homes, but there wasn`t enough of them to save everything. It got real tough for awhile. Thank God for the great people that live in this area!!
