.308 Win. cast bullets

Just got back from the range where I tested different OAL's for my .308 shooting 196 grain Lee cast bullets. I had settled on the nominal 200 grain bullets with gas check after prior tests of weights from 150 to 200 grains. Previous tests also indicated that 23.0 grains of SR4759 gave the best accuracy in my Ruger Hawkeye with 1 in 10 twist. Today my rounds with an OAL of 2.83 gave me a group of .90 inches at 100 yards. My prior testing has shown that when I am consistent with my loading technique and sort my cast bullets to within plus or minus 1/2 grain in weight. I can shoot inch and under groups consistently. My alloy is 50-50 lead-linotype and i tumble lube with Lee Alox. Bullets are sized to .309.
