1. I have a M70 Winchester, 270W, post 1964, definitely push feed.

2. Have a Brno 22Hornet, 1961. If you feed from the magazine the case slips under the extractor. You can also slip a cartridge into the chamber and close the bolt. Controlled feed?.

3. Also have an FN 30-06 M98, full wood, bayonet mount, made in the very early 1950's, full military. If you feed from the magazine the case slips under the extractor. You can also slip a cartridge into the chamber and close the bolt. Controlled feed??.

So, what defines a "controlled feed"???.
