Well, We had such a good time in Texas hog hunting, a month or so ago, that I am looking for another place to go to next Feb. Love the state, and the weather that time of the year! I had posted about our hunt a few weeks back. I really liked the ranch, and the owner, but was a little disappointed with the number, and size of the hogs seen. In fairness, though, we had a full, bright moon, the last 2 days of the hunt, that kinda screwed things up.

What I'm looking for is a ranch with more, and bigger hogs, and maybe javelina. Since we live clear up in Indiana, we are looking for more than a 2 day/weekend hunt. We figured out its a fer piece from NW Indiana to south Texas! I'm looking into either a 4/5 day hunt, or possibly hunting 2 different places over a 5-6 day period. I think I want to concentrate in the area south[east or west] of San Antonio. I found some web sites, that look interesting, and thought I'd post them here. If any of you have something better, or know something about these ranches, let me know.

Mad Dog thanks for the info. I am planing on getting into this Hog hunting myself, I have considered Bowguns in Williamsburg. In. I have heard some good reference to them. I live in central Iowa and have a step daughter in Ohio, so this entery leval trip would work out. I under stand that Texas has some great hog hunting, and have a step daughter in College Station. It would be a great trip to go down to Texas. please pass on any info for a feb hunt in Texas.
