Is reloading equipment by this company the same as Midway?
I'm a newbie and have heard both names but don't see any Midway brand equipment on the Midway website. Thanks.

Not sure if Midway just quit putting their brand name on a lot of things or if they turned things over, but you're right - don't see Midway's name on any of their former products anymore. Notice some of the Frankfort Arsenal products even in Sportsman's Guide lately.

I think they have removed their name from alot of their products so they can be sold through other venues , aside from offering them in their catalogs they can wholesale them to other catalog outfits . It would be like Cabela's selling stuff in their catalog with Bass Pro Shops name on it otherwise.

Was reading an article I think in last months Handloader. Midway has a number of brand lines that are their own stuff. These include Frankfort Arsenal for reloading, Tipton for cleaning, and Caldwell for rests. All are Midway brands, but this way they can sell them to other retailers.

Midway's product division is called Battenfeld Technologies (http://www.battenfeldtechnologies.com/) and, as others have already said, no longer sells under the Midway name so that they won't directly compete with their resellers.

Thanks for the info from all that have replied. I had a feeling that they were using Frankford Arsenal as the name for their products. I just wanted to verify it. By the way, I only signed on here about a week ago. Everyone here has been very helpful with all the questions I've had. You folks are all great!! Thanks!
