I've been lurking here for a few months.
I've been loading on my friend's Lee Loadmaster for the past few months.
I don't get to do as much as I would like. I'm loading mostly 9mm.
Decided to get my own set up.
Torn between dillion and hornaday. Reading here convinced me. Ordered the Lock n Load today. Will be back for help:)

Well if it makes you feel any better about your purchase I originally got into reloading a few years ago with a Dillon 550B and have since sold it to buy a LNL AP. I think the LNL is a much nicer press.
I got the casefeeder for my LNL about a week ago and I'm loving it now more than ever.

You and DaveinOakwoodGa were instrumental in my decision, so I will be asking a lot of questions. I went ahead and ordered the case feeder right off. The Lee Loadmaster has both a case feed and bullet feed. The Lee priming mechanism drives me nuts. I spend as much time removing the shell plate as I do loading.
I'm trying to get about 1,000 to 1,500 rounds per month down range. We are working on light loads, weak recoil springs and fast shooting for speed steel.
I'm an adrenaline junky.

Order arrived today. I set up the frame and then attached the case feeder. Everything was great until i got to the plug in the motor part. i got the european plug, 220 volt. I contacted Graf's. It was listed as 120 volt. I'm sure it will all work out. Didn't need the sub plate either.
I'll get the rest set up in the next few days. It looks and feels like a very nice unit. Very solid and smooth. I haven't done anything on the primer feed, powder feed, or installing the dies. I got the Lymans expander powder dies so might try that as well.
Instructions are easy to follow. I just need to read them.

You Could Not Have Made A Better Choice. I Have Been Using A Projector Press Since They First Came Out. I Have Since Sold My Original Projector And Got A Lnl Projector Press When They Hit The Market. Both Presses Were Easy To Set Up, Just Follow The Directions And Go. My Next Step Is To Get The Case Feeder For Mine. I Have Never Had To Adjust Anything On Mine It Worked Perfectly Right Out Of The Box. If I Had Any Questions About Any Of The Hornady Products I Just Call Them And They Answer Them.[it Does Help That I Live 60 Miles From Hornady And Know Several People That Work There]. I Have Loaded Over 15000 Rounds On My Press With No Problems. I Sure Can't Say The Same For The Dillion I Had In The Early 80's.

robctwo,
Good choice, if you have any problems, call Hornady, they're friendly, helpful and they'll even send you the non warrantied parts, if you ask. Amazing, their functional warranty is the same as dillon's, for a lot less money.

I love my LNL. I have been a Hornady LNL fan since its inception. I have a low three digit serial number. I would like to hear from some of the new owners about the case feed system. I normally feed by hand, but noticed the new feed system.

I have the feeder, but need a transformer to reduce from 220 to 110 because I'm an idiot.
The case feeder needs the sub plate, which you may not have on an older machine. The sub plate provides the feed ramp for the cases. The feeder comes with brackets for the older frames. The new frames are drilled for the upright.
