Hello all -

To those who are familiar with my slugging headache and heartache   , my new 45 colt is once again just that.  I'm off to the range this weekend for the first firing - sans hammer and fishing weights of course!

I'll assume the barrel should be "seasoned" as outlined in Marshall's Tech guide.  I do know the throats will need to be reamed for accuracy but for now, I just want to send some lead down range and smell some gun powder.

Alan,

Good to hear she's back home. Did you pick up a Guide to Firearms Dissasembly for Revolvers yet?

Morning MT -

I'll be placing an order the first of the month with MidSouth which will include a revolver assembly, dissassembly manual. *I may be ignorant but I ain't stupid * *Me and that cylinder will again go to-to-toe for round two. *I'm also purchasing a Lee Anniversary reloading kit (O press version). *Thanks to the very generous Bill Lester, I have Lee dies and 300 pieces of 45 colt brass waiting in the wings.

Yup, things is coming together.
