I just got a Savage 17hmr bolt action and would like to replace the stock. Unless one owns a Ruger 10/22 it seems impossible to find something. I'm not a big fan of the synthetic stock. I'd like to get a wood stock. Any ideas?

What does 96-99% inletting completed mean? Does this mean I have to carve out the stock to make it fit my rifle?
