Greetings All.
I am a new kid on the block and am just getting back into hand loading after a 15-year vacation. I have been reading a little on the site about presses and haven't heard much mentioned about the Lyman T-MAG II press. My main interest will be in loading .22 bullets for predator and target shooting. Is the Lyman T-MAG a viable choice for loading small caliber rifle rounds. I was entertaining getting one of these and was curious who had had experience with one of these? Thanks in advance for your advice! If anyone needs advice with ridding predator problems, I can be of assistance but I need to check in hear for advice on things I am VERY rusty on.

I have loaded thousands of rounds on my Mag T, from Hornet to 375 H&H and 45-70. Of its type, think it is one of the best on the market. Hope this helps. Paul :)

Thanks Paul. I was hoping someone was using one of the T-mag presses. I have a friend that has loaded handgun rounds with the press for some time now and loves it. I only own long guns and have not seen to many people suggesting Turret or Progressive type presses for loading long gun rounds and was wondering if there is a good reason. I appreciate your feedback.

TrapperTrent,

If you're interested, I have a used Lyman T Mag a buddy of mine sold me for 45 dollars. I didn't like the orange paint, so I cleaned it up, painted it black and lubricated it. It's in excellent shape and I simply don't have room for it, since I also have a Hornady Lock N Load, an RCBS Rock Crusher and a Lee Classic Cast press.

I'd be glad to sell it to you for the same thing I paid for it, plus shipping to your location.

Dave
