Will be ordering a tikka t3 lite in .223 cal within a week and was just wondering what other peoples experience is with scopes for the .223.

Im looking at fitting either a leupold VX1 3-9x40mm or 4-12x40mm scope.

Does anyone think these scopes are over powered or under powered for the range of a .223 cal rifle?

The rifle will be used for shooting during the day and spot lighting aswell.

Any suggestions?

Just fit the 3-9 vx1 , good scope you won't go wrong.
