Just tossin' this around in my head today and wondering if there's a way to guesstimate how much velocity loss would be observed by going to a heavier bullet in a given cartridge if you already know one load.

Here's the load:

NEW Rem 6.8mm SPC - 115gr bullet @ 2800fps... Remington only lists three different 115gr bullets with this one - nothing heavier.

There's a 120gr bullet and a multitude of 130gr examples that made the old .270 famous. Any guesses what the velocity might be with either one of these heavier bullets? You think the 130gr would still run 2500-2600fps? Less?

TIA! All opinions & guesses welcome! ;) Maybe someone will get to load some of these heavier bullets in this new cartridge soon to answer some of my questions....
