Hi,
Does anyone know where I might find loading data for this type of bullet?

Have used some from a local caster...these are the round nosed, flat point types that were designed for revolvers...so they have a non-traditional look for a semi-auto.
Looking at the bearing area...the full diameter part of the bullet that actually touches the barrel...find that these on hand match the 200gr. SWC's. Given the same weight, same bearing area, and loaded so that the base is in the smae place in the case to create the same case volume, I use 200gr. SWC data.
Your bullets may be different than mine...but it seems bullets of the same weight, same bearing area, and loaded to allow the same case volume result nin about the same pressures being generated...and that normally gives the same exit velocity.

I'd bet that if you used any loading manuals starting loads for any 200 gr cast or swaged lead bullet, you'd be fine.
Personally I've found that 4.5 grains of Bullseye or 231 does rather well with the two different 200 gr cast bullets I shoot in a Colt Goldcup and a S&W mod 25.

Sounds good to me. I'll work the loads up from minimum and see how it goes. Thank you for the replies!

BB,
Lee's Modern Reloading II list 25 loads for 200-grain lead bullets. Let me know which powder(s) want to work with and I will relay the data. I suspect that there is a load for just about any type of pistol powder you want to use with that many listed.

BB...
In Moderning Reloading II, the powders are listed from the "most likely to succeed" to the "less likely".
22 of 28 Clays... Starting Load = 3.6, Max Load = 4.3 which produces 888 FPS and 17000 CUPs. Min OAL 1.225"
27 of 28 Bullesye... Starting Load and Max Load = 4.0 which produces 790 FPS and 9800 CUPs. Min OAL 1.19"
In the Accurate line of powders, #5 is the best choice for a 200-grain cast bullet. It's 2 of 28... Starting Load = 7.8, Max Load = 8.7 which produces 1025 FPS and 19400 CUPs. Min OAL 1.19"
In the Hodgon line of powders, Universal is the best choice for a 200-grain cast bullet. It's 4 of 28... Starting Load = 6.0, Max Load = 6.7 which produces 981 FPS and 16,000 CUPs. Min OAL 1.225"
Hope this info helps.
Michael
