Hello everyone I just felt like I had to post my results from the range last week And to kind of toot my horn a little :D Well any way I went to compare how my rifle shot the Win 150gr hollow point and 150gr Power point side by side.

Temp was a nice 56 degrees the hollow point stuff shot about 2MOA I was satisfied with that, then I let the rifle cool down and proceeded to shoot the power points. I **** near fell off of the bench when I peered through my spotting scope. All three rounds were nestled on the target atjust over one MOA. I wish I had some more ammo but I only had 3 rnds of the PP. Now that I opened my pie hole I will probably never shoot that well again as that is my luck. But you can rest assured that as soon as the weather gets better I will try again and this time make sure 1 Ihave plenty of ammo, &2 have Ranch Dog's target with me. Oh before I forget to mention this is with the new 336A package rifle that was sold with a cheap Simmons 4x scope, I don't forsee changing athing.
Ok I am done tooting my horn now. 336A

Sounds like an amazing rifle and I'll advise you to keep it. My 336A in 35 Remington will group first two shots touching each other but after that the group opens up. So it goes.

Simmons scopes have come a long way since they first hit the scene about 10 years ago. Meade Instruments now owns this company. They've been building top quality astronomy lens for many years. AETEC and 44 MAG are their Premier lines. Pro Hunter, Whitetail Expedition, and 8 Point are their lower cost lines. But even the low dollar scopes are good.

Don't feel you have to apologize for owning a Simmons scope. I like 'em and so do thousands of other North American hunters.
