I just bought a G2 contender in 44 mag.Does anyone have any good load data?I would also like some feed back on scopes,best calibers,ect.

The standard Elmer Keith load is hard to beat:

240 gr. LSWC
21.0 gr Alliant 2400
CCI 350 Large Pistol Magnum Primer
R-P Brass

This load is safe in MY Contender, but may not be in yours, so work up to these levels. If you choose to use jacketed bullets, back off quite a bit to around 18. gr. of 2400. Again, work up to this.

I always have liked and used Burris scopes on my Contender, but others are good as well.
