Tried to find the listing at the H&R Website for their .357 Magnum Handi-Rifles and it looks like they're dropping some of their calibers... and adding a few NEW ones.

H&R/NEF has dropped their Pistol caliber rifles in .357 magnum, and .44 magnum. From what I here they still do have a limited supply of barrels for their additional barrel program but you have to act quick. Rossi has also dropped their single shots in the same chamberings. From what I read on various forums it seemed that these chamberings were the more popular so it was quite a surprise to find out both companies dropped them. I'm glad I picked one up recently

Given the past sales figures for these pistol caliber NEF rifles, I can only reach one conclusion as to why they dropped them. They must be cutting into Marlin's sales.
