just got an old texan fw at ebay for a reasonable price i know they were made in the 60`s an 70`s and are now discontinued does anyone have any ideas as to spares etc and if i can still buy bushings ,ive heard that it will take a mec universal chargebar, anyone with any eperience or knowledge of working on the old texan singlestage would be most appreciated in sharing that knowledge thx

Still have an old Texan 16ga. (and the 12ga. dies), but have never up-dated it...still use the bushings and it still reloads just fine (at least with lead shot...never reloaded steel). Other than the fact that it still works, am not going to be much help with conversion bars or bushings...what I got with it back then is what I still use today.
