Stopped by our local Black Sheep sporting goods and was telling my friend about Winchester's 9410. They happened to have one on the rack.

Sitting right beside it was what looked like a 336 in 410 shotgun. I never saw one before and didn't know they were being made. Sure was a nifty looking gun. Think I'll stick with my 20's and 12's but am always tempted by a new gun

Bet the Marlin is a short-termer in their cataloged listings. Kind of like the .356 Win in the model 336, .218 Bee in the 1894CL and the .25-20 in 1894CL, as well as some other notable short-run production guns Marlin has been known to do.

My hunch says the Marlin will have collector status in under five years! Time will tell. Still, a neat little gun to be sure.

God Bless,

My local shop has a pump action Marlin 12ga. I've never seen one. Are these rare?
