I have a BLR in 257 Roberts. I love the rifle except for the trigger pull. Can the trigger pull be lightened on a lever gun safely?

I am told by a Gunsmith that the BLR trigger can be worked on for a better trigger pull. No big deal.

While you'll never get to match grade, the triggers can be cleaned up quite a bit. They will always have a little creep. You can get to a point, that with the right load, a three shot 1" group comes pretty regularly.

You'll never fix it so I guess you'll have to sell it to me. :D
