I have lost an old friend...David Clay. David was my gunsmith in Arlington, Texas back in the 80's. I have seen several articles written about him in various gun magazines and know that he is doing some marvelous work with lever action take-down rifles and innovative gunsights. He was under the name of DRC Customgunsights. His old website is down, the phone number I had is no longer any good. I heard he was moving to a new, larger location. I really want to find him. Can anyone help?

Last I heard he was either in Fort Worth or Arlington. Might call information in Arlington to see if he is listed.

Dave did an 1895(TakeDown) for me about 3 years ago: Magnificent.
See: http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/richpix2001/my_photos
Open the My 1895DRC folder
Dave is about to ship my 1894(TakeDown) on which he's installed a 1:26" Badger barrel, reamed the chamber (and worked the cyling) to seat long(er) 44mags like the (new) Buffalo Bore 340gr and the Garrett 330gr.
This 1894DRC also includes Dave's new one-piece trigger, his Glove Lever and AO GhostRing sight.

Dave has moved to new (larger) quarters and can be reached at:
(817) 783-6099.

Best Regards,
