I have a Win 94 Wrangler with a 16" barrel in .32 Special. I replaced the hoop lever with a standard lever and now it fits great in the leather scabboard on my 4-wheeler. I have a 45-70 Marlin Guide Gun and a .35 Rem 336 RC that I buy heavy loaded ammo from Buffalo Bore, but I've not found any for .32 Special. Does anyone know of a company that handles or makes hot loads in .32 special with maybe 200 gr bullets that are safe in a modern 94 Win. Thanks.

That's a tough one... and load data isn't real common, either. I know Hornady still makes bullets, and you might check their manual.

As far as hot-rodding it, well, you're probably on your own.....

Oh, and Hodgdon:

Good luck and be safe.

I went over to Mountain Mold's (http://www.mountainmolds.com/) web site and it designed a great looking 200-grain bullet. You would have to spend a bit of time with a caliper and micrometer taking measurements with an available bullet and case to ensure you end up with something that will chamber but the work is very do-able.

Thanks guys for the info. I guess that I'll just use the factory 170 gr that have been used in the north on bear and moose for years. Why do I feel comfortable with a 5" Bisley in .45 LC 300 gr heavy loads and underguned with a .32 170 gr that developes 50% more energy. Go figger. Life is good.
