If you live within driving distance of Bradford, PA and don't have anything special planned for this weekend, please stop by and bring a lever action rifle or 2 or 3. Or if you want to just see what is going on, please come and observe. It is a lot of fun and it is a joy to behold seeing all those lever action rifles in one place. Pretty neat!

I would love to come John, but my job calls...The 900 miles distance would have to figure in as well. ;)

Dr. A,

Gee, just what I need . . . you coming to Pennsylvania to kick my butt again! Then again, the way I've been shooting matches this year you can look for my scores somewhere near the bottom. You would derive little satisfaction from beating me.

And, in all honesty, too bad you can't make it as I'd like to meet you. Next year in mid-July, the Bradford club is hosting the NRA Hunter Pistol National Championships and an NRA Regional Lever Action Championship either immediately before or after the pistol nationals. Care to make some plans to attend?

And to John Kort, see you at the range. I even borrowed a western hat for the occasion. Are you sure you don't need any stereotype?

Dr. A,
900 miles ..... that is a bit far. Well, we will at least be thinking about you. There may be some NRA Cowboy Silhouette matches held closer to where you are located. Competitors must use iron sights only (peep and tang are ok) and shoot from the standing position. These matches are a lot of fun with great comraderie and plenty of talk about lever action repeating rifles.

Steelbanger,
I look forward to seeing you and the rest of the shooters this weekend. I hope the weather is as nice as it has been for the past several days.

Thank you again for your kind offer of some stereotype alloy. I do have quite a bit of type metal at the moment, but I am sure that Bill Zewe or one of the other cast bullet shooters would really appreciate some.

Directions to the club:
Oops, I forgot to give the directions in case anyone reading this may want to attend.
The club is located on Rt. 770 west of Rt. 219.
From Rt. 219 turn on to Rt. 770 West. The club is several miles up Rt. 770 on the right hand side.
