Yesterday I was resolved and more than content not to buy another rifle for a long time. I had been wanting something in synthetic and stainless, perhaps even laminated stainless and was considering a Kimber Montana in .260, but I don't own any bolt guns and wasn't sure I wanted to. Then today I walked into my local sporting goods store for a box of 20 guage double-ought and my friendly clerk looked at me and said: "We have something you'd like," and handed me a BLR in 300 WSM in stainless and a gray laminate. I tried everything possible not to buy that rifle.
But I did.
Now, anyone with favorite BLR 300 WSM loads?

Sunday Creek: I'm sure glad to see someone else with my type of will power. Enjoy your new toy.

Heh, Heh, Heh!!
Sounds exactly like something I'd do! :p
That should make a slick lever gun cartridge. Will have to let us know how it works and shoots.

Thanks everyone for being co-dependent concerning the habit, and thanks to AZ300 for the load. I am glad to hear that 150s shoot okay, I thought it might be a 180-grain diet. I have decided how I am paying for it. I am selling the hide to the BigHorn Sheep I killed yesterday and I am selling my like-new BLR in 358. Will report more on the rifle later. May have to wait to put a scope on it. I want to grace it with something nice.

It's not a habit, It's more like and addiction or sickness... :D
The more you have.....the BETTER you want!
