I'm considering picking one of these up. Unissued condition for under $200 for a Yugo mauser...good price I can't pass up. I am told they are made in Yugoslavia and they are basically a Yugo M48 and supposedly "contracted" for Egypt. Now whether they were trully made for Egypt is one story. I am more interested in whether they are just unmarked M48 Mausers. Are these just a "plain jane" M48 mauser in every design?
