I have the Lyman Turret press and Ram prime so when you try to change out the shellholder for the ram prime block its very tight and difficult to extract or put back.In fact the C clip wants to come out of the slot track its in,instead of flexing in to let the shellholder snap in.This is a 1994 new press I just purchased from D&R.I called Lyman and they sent me another clip but it looks exactly the same in size .Any comment on this?

First of course I called Lyman and they quiclky sent me a new C clip .At first it looked exactly the same.Finally I took the original out of the rampiston slot.Right then you could see the differance!! The 90degree bendof the little leg was a bit longer than the one Lyman just sent me.So I shortened it up and reinserted it and now the shellholder slides in with just a little pressure.

Don't you hate when you post a question and then figure out the answer. I once had a problem with the shellholder spring clip on my RCBS, couldn't get the shellholder to stick in tight, turned out the leg was bent and not holding the shell holder
