If any of you have this firearm,I would like to know if you changed the rear sight from the Cowboy Buckhorn sight.
The tang safety concerns me. Won't this get in the way of the tang safety? Comments or experiences with this firearm?

I've got a Winchester 1886 with the tang safety and had the tang sight put on. Can't say that I ever noticedthere was a problem with the safety, never used it.
Got a Winchester 95, with the tang safety it's a problem. I'm going to epoxy it in place so that it won't slip into safe unexpectedly. Makes for a great test for flinching, the safety being on, unexpectedly.
