I have a ruger sbh in 454 and I really like the accuracy and power or the cartridge. I also love the handling and accuracy of my .357 Trapper so when will winchester get the drift and start putting these guns together. I hope they put heavy metal in them so we can really see what a 454 carbine or long barrel can do.

If you're waiting for a Winchester M94 in .454 the only possible way this would happen is if the Big Bore platform is used. *The .454 Casull cartridge develops too much pressure for the standard M94 to handle safely. *Currently, the closest you can get to the Casull ballistics (safely) in a M94 would be to go with the .45 Colt and load it up to somewhat under 40K. *If you really gotta have 50K in a lever gun, you'd better go with a M92 clone which will be hampered by short overall cartridge length in the Casull. *You may be surprised what can be done with a long loaded (extra powder space) .45 Colt in the old M94 at a measly 35 to 40K... especially with 20 plus inch bbls .
