I have a Lee 4-Hole Turret Press and only just recently mounted it. Anyhow, it came with a small black plastic square part (inside is open, think of a black washer except it is square and the hole is also square). This part was attached to one of the main pillar/collumn supports with a twisty. Does anyone know what it is or where it goes? I think it is the Square Ratchet, which is internal to the Auto Index Clamp, but I am not sure since I have not dissassembled it to look. Since the auto index appears to work fine, is this just an extra Square Ratchet? The manual shows a side view diagram of the parts list for the Auto Index, with a white picture of what could be this part.

Mine came with that also. I believe it is an extra "follower" for the square bar that rotates the turret. I could be wrong, but have found no other use for it.
