ok i know henry says not to taredown there guns but my little 22 get very dirty and i would like to know how to tare it apart.
Carner,
ME TOO. I bought one for the grandkids to learn with and they are having mucho fun with it...me too. :D The Owner's Manual sure doesn't provide much help either. Mine is not too dirty yet and If I don't find a parts breakdown, I will just go a head and tear into the thing.

I will see if I can help you guys out.
Take out the rear tang screw... remove the butt stock.
Take out all four screws, two on each side of the reciever. Be sure not to lose the star washers under those screws.
Now the top of the reciever will come off and you can clean.
Not too hard. Gets easier the more you do it.
Remember this reciever is painted, so becareful not to let your screwdriver slip and scratch the paint.
Hope this helps,
Gismo

Well I had to take mine apart this morning because I had a round jam. It does come apart pretty easy, I don't recomend dropping any of the star washers in the grass. Field stripping in the field. The hardest part about getting it back together is aligning the lever and the sliding action. Slide action, as in slides out and drops into the grass as well. I did get it back together I even managed to find the lost washer, I've had some practice finding combine parts in stubble fields.
:d :d :d :d :d :d :d :d :d :d I love your post Cat. I tried to put in 10 smileys.

When you have most any .22 apart and want to get rid of the built up filth a nearby dollar store generally has carb cleaner and it works well to get the nasty stuff moving in the right direction. This stuff gets bought by lots of ten as I use it for a lot of cleaning chores.

I use the same thing for my cleaning and also spray my brushes and chamber mops with it. Cleans very well.
