gday everybody
This is a truly awesome site.
I've spent the last 4 days reading constantly, til my eyes go blurry and my head hurts. There's enough reading on here to keep me entertained for months.

Over the years i've shot every action i can think of but i have always prefered the lever, its what i fired first and what i feel the most natural with.
I did some pro rabbit shooting on the nullarbor plain about 14 years ago and as far as I know I was the only one doing it with a 9422, everyone else used brno bolts or ruger 10/22s. When I pulled her out of her case they all laughed, they stopped laughing when i pulled back into camp next morning with 100 pair on the rack.

Since those days I haven't fired a shot but I'm thinking I should get back into it.

First I have to find another .22
and then
and then
and then
well you know how it goes :D

I was thinking about a 357 second but after reading some of mr Stantons stuff theres not much to think about, it should do absolutely everything I need, at least until I can find a good 218Bee and the $1000 for a new 30-30.

Welcome to the board! You'll find this a dangerous place for a lever-action addiction; too much talking about them can have a bad effect on your checkbook. There are several good 22s out there. One of my favorites is made by Henry Repeating Arms company of New York. Of course Marlin and Winchester (until recently) make nice ones too. Anyway, welcome aboard (and send us some of your good weather!)

Welcome to the forum gundownunder. Rules are simple, be nice and join in. As you can see there are a lot of lever action fans here. Lots of folks doing different lever things. Be sure and go over the Tech notes section, you'll find some really interesting articles there.

Again welcome to the forum and have fun.
