Several month's ago I picked up a Model 1911 in 45 ACP and fell in love with the way it fits my hands. I then ran into an add by Kimber advertising their Rimfire Target Converison Kits in 22 LR. What I would like to know is has anybody tried these out and did you like them? Your input would be greatly apreciated.

I bought a Kimber conversion for my 1911 and loved it! I actually sold my 45 but I still have the conversion for when I buy another 1911.

I don't have a Kimber, but I do have a Wilson Commander, and a Wilson .22 conversion kit. I makes a great plinker, it is not as accurate as my .22 target pistol, but not bad. JP

Mine works just fine. Haven't done any serious testing with it, but appears to be plenty accurate.
