Well late season is almost over and we did real good this season we scored 4 for 4 tags. We took a monster 7x7 should score 160 +/- a 4x4,2x2,2x1. I took my first buck with a pistol, my ruger hunter in 45 LC. using a 340 gr. LFNGC Beartooth bullet and Win 296 powder. Boy what a freight train dropped that buck right where he stood, great performance and very little meat damage. The deer are just starting to show signs of going into the rut here. All in all was a good late season. Tomorrow will cut and wrap our seasons harvest, 2 deer. To all good hunting and enjoy.
