Can someone explaine to me how the lock out die works.
I read the instructions on their web site but it does not explain how it stops the press if a squib is detected.
All that I can make out is it gives a visual if a charge is there or not.
Thanks.

I haven't looked at that press with that die. Can you provide a link to the instructions? I didn't spot it on a quick run through the site, though I didn't Google it, either. On the Dillon presses the powder checker has a foot that rests on the powder and which is attached to a short fat rod with a V-groove cut in it. If the powder level is correct, the bottom of the V is aligned with a buzzer trigger. If the powder level is too high or too low, the wider part of the rod presses on the buzzer trigger and sets ot off. It is easy to imagine a setup where the wide part of the rod jams against a stop if the V alignment isn't correct. The same could be accomplished with a notch rather than a V. I assume something like this is done, but need to look to see?
