Guys,
It is time to start begging for donations for the up comming match. We have had some great support over the past few years from a lot of great companies. I need some ideas for this year. I won't turn down anyone's help either. If you have an idea and want to contact the company to see if they would be interested in making a donation please feel free to do so. Please let me know who you contacted so we don't duplicate our efforts.

If we are able to get some donations for the postal match, to what address do we send the donations?

At some of our Muzzleloading shoots we all put a prize on the blanket, 1st place gets to pick first, 2rd ect. It is like trading everyone get a good prize. That may not be practical here but. If everyone donated a prize, say to enter and the names put in a hat and drawn the same way we do now? Just thinking out loud.

We have a new, under construction, Sportsmans Warehouse that will open this spring…I will talk to them later…

Whip's suggestion of every shooter donating something as a prize sounds good to me. That would take the pressure off the few who have to solicit (beg) for the prizes. Thinking quickly here, which can be dangerous, I have an autographed Nosler Reloading Manual I would donate if this idea flies.
Edit: Those autographs are of the Nosler people, not mine!

I haven't been around much, been pretty busy here at home getting ready for the RDPMIV Hunt with Steelbanger and getting the web site up for PM V.
Please mention the match to any shooting sports business you have contact with and please be ready to forward them the web site address as we always search for sponsors.

Big Med is the "Collector of Loot" so drop him a PM or email him via his link! Now that the site is up I'm going to be harassing Bushnell, Lee, and my other favorites!

In the rules, you say a red dot sight is in the open sight class. I have a red dot Tasco ProPoint PDP 2 on my 35 J C Higgins (Marlin) rifle. Is this what you mean by "red dot sight"?
