I just purchased a Marbles Tang Sight for my Chaparral '73 Win replica and the rear most tang screw that came with the sight is a smaller diameter than the one on the rifle and it's also longer in length and different threads. Anyway you look at it, it won't work. I've called Marbles just to ask for the correct sight number before I ordered it and they refer you to Brownells for the tech questions so I'm sure Marbles won't do anything about it.
TIA!

You might just be able to order the correct screw from Midway or possible Buffalo Arms, yes? Should be an easy fix, they probably just sent the wrong screw.

They probably sent you the correct screw for the 73 Win but the remake is likely a little different. I'd just find a good gunsmith and they will likely have a screw that will fit. This is the first complaint I've heard on Marbles, for their sights , knives or any thing else. Glenn
I'd go the gunsmith route. Any smith with a box of screws should be able to fix you up for a few bucks.
