Along with Marlin-itis, I have recently got the Savage 99 Bug. Is there a forum out there stricktly for Savages, 99 in particular?

I am brand new to this site, and don't want to immediately come across as a whiner, but I was struck that with all the other Lever Action forums here on this site, there is not one for The Savage 99.

That seems odd.

I'd suspect there aren't enough of them around to generate the traffic. But if there is - well, creating a new forum is possible.

I did see one commnet about over 750,000 being made by the mid '50s.

My own 30-30 has a serial number of 189,XXX.

There are a heck of a lot of '99s around. And it was made in more calibers than any other lever action.
