Does the Japanese made version (with safety) of this rifle come factory drilled and tapped for tang sights? I see Marble lists a sight for the rifle with the safety but am wondering if I will need to drill and tap the tang for the forward screw. FYI, I am thinking of buying an 86. Haven't bought yet.

I have one of the take down models and I needed to have a gunsmith drill and tap.
Used it for a year pulled the tang site off and put a Redfield reciever site on it.
Never could get used to not gripping the rifle.
