Just back from my annual mule deer hunt in Brewster County between Marathon and Alpine. I saw a lot of bucks but decided on this one. Saw him about a mile away and way, way up the mountains at the pinon pine level. Made a 1000 yard stalk and shot him at 115-yards with my 444T and my TLC432-265-RF home cast bullet. He dropped like a rock!

Great looking Mule deer.
After going on my first hunt. I am hooked, and got on a lease out in that area. It is different!
Nice buck, RD - glad you found the time to go. How's the food plots and hunting at home?

Nice buck RD! Now those are some big muley ears! It looks warm there, despite the gloves on you hands!

Great buck RD. Too bad somebody put that old geezer in the background :o
:D
Best part is you got to use yer own hand crafted bullets. That shines!
