Anyone out there got a 2 or 3 gen Colt or Uberti worn out hand, that they would sell real cheap! It has to have the big pin, which the 2 & 3 Colt plus the 1873 Uberti's do, .150, needs to have a spring to.
I have been working on these 2 old Hawes that I bought in a box with a lot of parts gone. I lack this hand and I can finish the last one. I have bought my parts from 3 diff. places and only one place that I bought from had parts that fit,but the other places that I have bought from I have had to magor mod there parts to work, so if I have to work on a part I might as well get a worn out one. The guy that has the good parts doesn't have the hand. I hate to buy a colt hand and rework it, so I was in hopes, someone had a worn out one throwed in a box, that I could rework and make it fit.

If you don't get lucky on a used one, you might give Numrich a call. I have good luck with their parts. I bought a Colt Python hand just last week for about $31 plus 6 bucks for USPS delivery. Takes 4 or 5 days in the mail.

They show a large cam hand for 1873 Uberti in stock.
