Parted with enough green stuff today to secure my first 22lr. I wanted a cheap knock around plinker that might be good enough to take a rabbit or two occasionally. Was looking at norinco's but they didnt feel that nice when cycling and firing on an empty case. Spent a bit more and got something with a name behind it.

Anyway, does anyone have the same rifle, or the wood stock version, and if so what does it shoot best for you? I have access to pretty much the full range of CCI ammo, winchester powerpoints and Z's, remingtons and eley. I want to shoot a Z round of sorts through it most of the time, but a full power hunting round would be hand to keep as well.

Brad I'd suggest trying several different brands. You'd be surprised how picky a 22 can be. I shoot a CZ 452 and it likes the Winchester ammo best of the inexpensive stuff. I have to admit I've been know to feed it whatever is on sale at Walmart though.
