This is the group I shot this morning from my semi- J.C. Higgins Model 36. The gun was actually manufactured by High Standard in 1954 for all I have been able to find.

Anyways, this is standing, off-hand at 50 Yards, open sights. 16 rounds Winchester Super X .22lr 40gr. Wind from the right at 3-5 knots.

Wanted to shoot longer, but the giant snowbanks kept getting in the way....

Winter is a bummer, but spring is coming. Good shooting. Some of those old guns can be surprising. Look out ground squirrels.
