O.K. I know it's a 5mm Rem Mag........but how does it differ from either the 591 or the 592?? I can't say as I've ever seen even a picture of a 590.
I've never seen one, and my book doesn't list one. If there ever was one, it would be a single shot I'd suppose.

Has anyone ever had one of these?
Mine was the first gun my Dad bought for me and I took possession on my 11th B-day.
It has been a very accurate little 22 and I have fired thousands of rounds through it. The trouble is that it has never functioned well. The only reliable feed was with Super-X HP's and everything else jammed. I believe that the old X pediter worked well. too.
I believe that the ramp is at an odd angle and I know that many of the unfired extracted shells have a lot of the corner shaved off. When watching a bullet chamber I can see it hitting the top of the chamber.
I have just lived with it because it was the first gun I ever owned.
Help would be much appreciated.

The old boxes or Remington 5mm ammo state that it's for models 590, 591 & 592 only. Remington must think they made a 590. I just can't remember ever hearing of one.
