I have a jamming problem with my stoeger 2000. Does anyone else have this problem with the stoeger2000 and what can I do to correct it?

What do you mean by jamming, fired or un fired shotshell, lockup or on ejection. :confused:Bobby

If you haven't done it already tear it down completely and clean it.I bought mine in jan. against alot of bad reveiws and have had very good luck with it. before I ever shot it I tore it down, deburred all the parts, smoothed out rough edges and cleaned out a whole lot of packing foam pieces and grease. then I oiled it with rem oil. I went out and put 125 Federal target loads through it on the clay range without one problem. Good luck, Gary

I own the SxS uplander, and shoot trap, skeet, and game with it. No spring loaded ejector. The only problem I have had with jams is Remington shells get sticky after 200 rounds in the sun. Solution is hammering the thing open and wrenching the spent shell out(that'll get you a look on the firing line). That, and when I run out of reloads, sticking with Win AA's. Other problems are off barrel firing pin hangups from hot springs (150 shots using only one barrel)-Kroil and profanity fixed that, though. Oh, and every thousand rounds, the forearm needs tightening. And remember to GREASE the choke tubes (unless you intend to make a sawn off shotgun out of it). I wouldn't take a million bucks for the thing though (then I'd have to buy a new paddle for the boat):). That said, I have no prolems.
