I thought I would share the killer deal I stumbled across. I ran into a guy that I did some work with a few years ago, and while we were catching up, we got on the subject of reloading. I mentioned that I was looking for some equipment, and he said he was getting out of reloading a nd had some equipment to sell. I went over to his house a few days later to find he had a dillon 550, an older lyman turret press, about 3000 cases in 38 speciel, 40s&w, 45acp, 30-06, 41 mag, 357, dies for all of them plus a few more sets, 2 toolheads and powder measures for the dillon, and a box of assorted stuff like bullets and primers..............All for $300:D:D:D:D Needless to say I'm well equipted now. I'm gonna be listing most of the dies, cases and bullets as soon as I can get them all sorted.
Sometimes Lady Luck just smiles on you at the right time! :D

I met a fellow at our hunting camp;a nice enough guy.We did some target shooting and I gave him a box of cast bullet handloads.
At the end of the week's hunt,he invited me to his house, and gave me ALL the handloading equipment that his Father left him when he died.
He had no interest in handloading, and was glad to find someone who could use it.It includee:
A MEC 12 gauge reloader with all acessories
6 or 8 pistol molds;all in some state of deteriotation.2 had to be discarded.
These were gang molds. Also powder, primers, and assorted stuff, including a tool and dies for swaging bullets, with leadcoil and copper cups;both 38 and 45 cal.

Will have to brag about the deal I cut this weekend -
Bought a Springfield Trapdoor 1884 carbine for $150, including 200 once-fired cases! :p
Now have to re-buy some dies and cast bullets that were sold several months ago. Sure wish I had hung onto the reloading stuff.
Now have to re-buy some
Thats how I mostly outfitted myself for reloading friend selling their stuff. Sure saved a lot of money. Woowright you got a fantastic deal way to go....

Only good deal I've ever got was a Rcbs JR. press and saeco lead hardness tester for $25. Bought a saeco lead pot and a 4 cavity Lyman 38 bullet mold for $75. Four items for $100 not bad. Not sure on spelling on saeco to lazy to walk down to the shop to check. Bob
