Would like to have a little more magnification (with AO) for target shooting. I saw a Tasco 6X24X42 Silver Antler. I know Tasco is not thought of highly by some shooters, but I've had one on a 30-30 for a few years that is super clear and hols zero.
That said, I think with the tiny recoil a .22 generates, an inexpensive scope might work out. Anyone have any info or suggestions?
Thanks,
Ric

I have a bushnell rimfire 3-9x32 on my model 60, and it's actually good glass for the .22. It sells for around 40 bucks.

Thanks for the reply.
I have an older Bushnell on the rifle now(Ruger 77/22). I have also heard the names Mueller and Alpen thrown out there. Shot a rifle with a 4x32 Alpen and was impressed with the construction and adjustments.
I would like a longer scope that would put a little wieght forward on this light rifle.

i got a powerline scope spring before last for my rws mod 34... it's an air rifle scope 3-9by 32 and it's holding up good on the magnum springer,,, it is a clear scope i think and it was only $18 at wally so i bought another one... it's on my savage mkII .17 mach2.... i'm glad i picked up the second one when i did because they went up in price about a week later by $10....but that still isn't a bad price for a good clear scope... you might look at one of those if your on a tight budget like me..... oh it's not ao but i like it....

I've an old 8 by 32 Tasco target that's been on everything from my 8mm magnum to the 204 Ruger with no problems and right now their's a dandy hundred buck BSA 6 by 24 on a Rem 700 243 that has had no problems over the last five years.
You might take a look at Cabela's Pine Ridge scopes, they are a lot of scope for the money and Cabela's has near as good a warrentee program as Leupold. They have several scopes for the 22's with built in range adjustments.
