I'm no master gunsmith but I like working on my guns like everybody else. I prefer to work on my guns with protective gloves. I don't like getting my hands into the slovents and things and I like the look of a gun with no fingerprints on it. Latex gloves seem to react to my solvent and become fragile. Esentially they break open.

Do any of you use a form of latex gloves while you work on your guns? Please recommend any/as many products that you know of. Thank you.

I agree with you on the solvent thing. There are blue colored gloves that are resistant to petroleum based solvents. I think they are called Nitrile gloves. There are also the plastic gloves used by food workers, but they don't fit as well.

Yeah, nitrile gloves like those used by auto mechanics are probably the best.
