Greetings All
I have a "OLD" model winchester 97 that has shell feeding problems. The cartridge stop on the right side (ejection port side) does not seem to be letting the cartridge into the action.
When the slide is worked it does not seem to be depressing the cartridge stop far enough to let the shell slide back.
I have seen this problem on other Mod 97 and they just removed the right side cartridge stop and the shells feed properly. I do not really want to do that. I am sure someone else has had this problem nefor. Any help or ideas would be greatly welcomed.
