I ordered a couple hundered dollars worth of stuff from the good folks at Lock, Stock, & Barrel. They seem like a good bunch to work with, very competitive prices and they don't gouge you on shipping like Midway. It should all be here next week. I'll be able to get my new Kimber Longmaster Classic in 223 out to the range and give it a chance to impress me.

Flash I'm looking forward to hearing how that new gun shoots. That should make a dandy walking rifle for the kind of country you hunt up there in NY. Ground hogs and coyote's beware.

I enjoy the service I get from LS&B, they don't hit you as hard as Midway does on shipping if you only get a few small thing. Midway hammers you on anything below 50.00. les

Bob,
I'm anxious to put it through its paces. I have been prepping brass for a month and have a few hundred ready to load, I'm waiting for the Lee Trimmer to arrive so I can trim and load them up. I also want to get one of the bi-pods similar to what you have, it looks to be adjustable to about 24 inches and you can shoot when sitting with your butt up against a tree. What make/model do you have? I think you have yours on your CZ 204.
22,
I got hit with a $6 handling charge with my last order from Midway because my order was under $50. That won't happen again. I haven't bought anything from them in over a year and don't intend to unless they get competitive again. I have to confess I do like the customer product reviews and their website is very friendly to searching.

The bipod I have goes from sitting to almost standing hight. It uses a nylon ball on the rifle and just snaps on. The bad side is the company whom was based in Boise went out of business a couple of years ago. I'm on the hunt for something simular and so far just haven't found a suitable one. I've got two other varmint rifles and my old hunting partner's to fix up.
I'm going to make a few of the Bi-Fur bipods that are Varmint Al's website til I can find something as nice as the one on the CZ. I have those nylon attachments on a couple of other rifles so I can switch out easily, but I'd sure like to have about 3 or 4 more of them.
Here's the link to Varmint Al's plans for his home made bipod and I've made a couple of these and they work pretty well.

I really like Midway also, but liked them even better when they paid the postage. I usually wait til I get needing 50 bucks or more and it doesn't take long to do that anymore.
Have used LS&B over the years - generally find their prices a little on the high side unless on special sale. The one item that I'm really proud of was a Bell & Carlson thumbhole stock for a tang safety Ruger M77. LS&B was the only place I could find to order from at the time and they did a quality job on the order. Watching their sales, you can get a pretty good deal.
