Does anyone know how the colored cased finish is applied to on the Ruger Vaquero's? I know that it is not a real color cased hardened finish. It is some type of chemical film.

It would be nice to know who does it for Ruger. They farm out many of their work.

Never mind. Color cased finish will not work on aluminum.
