Shoot! magazine was one of my favorites. I saw Chucky at the Moniteau Creek shoot in MO a couple time. When I drove in to Jerry Croft's ranch near Deadwood SD, I was welcomed like family. Chucky was working on a gunbelt and holster for a magazine article; Jerry was telling stories and heckling Chucky; Carol Adrian and a friend were there discussing fast draw rigs; and other people were drifting through on a regular basis. I visited Shapels and Shooting World in Boise when I visited my brother (they're both gone too!)

I might have lost a few dollars...I had renewed for 2 years recently....but the demise of the magazine is a lot greater loss than a couple of yankee dollars.

Good luck to Chucky, Smith 'n Jones, Carrie and the rest of the good people formerly at Shoot! Magazine. I feel like valued friends have left.
