well i am x- millatary and i love to go hunting for sage rats and rabbits i have never seen a prayiedog or chucker i here storys of k-falls , but i just cant get anyone to help me find a place , i have some places here in medford or to hunt groung squierrles , but i want to get out and find some of the bigger ones , and iam new any advice on talking on this form ,,

I don't know about the ground squirrels, but if you can get over on the East side of Highway 97 you should run into some pretty coyote hunting/calling areas. I used to run 97 and 395 a bunch when I was trucking.

Saw lots of coyotes on that Eastern side. It also looked like it might hold some Rock Chucks. Big marmots that can get up over ten pounds. We have lots of them in Southern Idaho. It looks to be a hundred miles from Medford over past Crater Lake to 97 via Highway 62.

Don't know if that helps you any. You also might talk to Oregon's Fish and Game department. Here in Idaho Fish and Game is very helpful to hunters.
